Feather Flowers was created in 2022 in Riverside, California, as a small four piece band and has now evolved into a eleven piece group. Feather Flowers' sound is RnB based. Heavily inspired by Amy Winehouse, Erykah Badu, El Chicano, Santana and more, their sound reaches a variety of audiences. Over the past year, Feather Flowers has reached Los Angeles, Orange County, and throughout the Inland Empire, looking to expand even further.

Karissa Espinoza
Karissa is a 23 year old vocalist who was born and raised in Riverside, California. She has a background in Classical voice studies, and in the past few years she has been studying vocal jazz. Karissa is one of the 2 founding members of Feather Flowers and has been the lead vocalist since 2022. Her inspirations include Juan Gabriel, Lizzy McAlpine, Chaka Khan, Lorez Alexandria, and Anderson .Paak. In her downtime, Karissa values her time with loved ones, going to concerts, doing crossword puzzles, and looking for new restaurants and cafes to try out.

Celine Joy
Celine is a 19 year old vocalist from Downey. She currently attends Cal State Long Beach for a B.A in Psychology with a minor in Human development, but does multiple music extracurriculars in and outside school to keep music present in her life. Celine is in an acapella pop choir, Coastline, as the top soprano. She is also the bassist of a jazz combo. Outside of school she regularly gigs as a vocalist doing a wide range of genres from classic pop to jazz and everything in between. Most importantly, she is a background singer for Feather Flowers, her favorite outlet of performing, surrounded by her best friends.

Elyse Abad
Elyse is 19, from Riverside, CA. She has diverse musical background, whether it be singing and playing piano in church, classically, musical theater and vocal ensembles. Currently, she is a vocalist in Feather Flowers. Outside of the band, she studies Vocal Performance at California State University Long Beach. In school, she sings Soprano 1 in the CSULB University Choir!
Didier Flores
Didier is a 22-year-old Music Industry Studies major at Cal Poly Pomona from OC. He started playing bass when he was 10, he is also the current bass player for Feather Flowers. Didier is also one of two founding members of this band. These days, along with playing bass, he takes a managing position, directing the band from a musical and production stance. These roles also include mixing, mastering, producing and recording.
Jesus Aguilera
Jesus is a 20 year-old instrumentalist and composer from Norwalk, California. He is currently studying percussion performance and music composition at Cal Poly Pomona and is the drummer for Feather Flowers. When not performing and recording with Feather Flowers, Jesus is avidly performing with ensembles such as wind, jazz, and percussion at Cal Poly, doing jazz gigs, and actively working on composition projects both in classical composition and film scoring.

Ezekiel Leyva
Ezekiel is a 20-year-old mechanical engineering student at Cal Poly from Downey, CA. He picked up the saxophone at 11 during middle school, and has stuck with it ever since. Over the years, he’s had the chance to play with amazing musicians and is even going on tour in Europe for jazz this summer. He’s the saxophonist for Feather Flowers, where he also works on horn arrangements. Jazz is his main style, but he loves blending genres and pushing his sound in new directions. He is currently working on his own cumbia group and is also working on some modern jazz arrangements to release on album with his group, Blodgett Ave Jazz. When he’s not playing or studying, he's out flying drones and hanging out with friends, always wanting to share positivity and music. He’s always up for a jam session and loves talking music! He is excited for what is to come and hopes that others can join him for the journey!

Kevin Santillan
Kevin is a 21 year old from Bell, a city in South East LA. He is the Production Manager for the band, and is in general a music lover, promoter, and creator. His most current project is his senior project, an original musical titled 'Fly In My Soup' (April 10th, 2025 at the Cal Poly Pomona recital hall). He also makes music under the name "K $anti" and recently released a new single, "Only Got a Minute."

Angel Carreno
Angel is the photographer and videographer for Feather Flowers. He is 19 years old and based out of Long Beach, CA. He’s been doing music for 10 years and photography for 5 years. He’s also part of a band with childhood friends called Summersol.
Daphne Huerta
Daphne is 22 years old and from Covina, California. She works as the Feather Flower's Creative Director, and is an Apparel Merchandising and Management major at Cal Poly Pomona. Additionally, she is involved in other projects such as web designing for small retail businesses, and volunteering in events in the fashion industry, like the LA Fashion Week. In her free time, she loves to bake, sew, cook, go to the beach, and listen to her favorite artists including Rauw Alejandro, Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Kali Uchis.
Chloe Vega
Chloe is a 24 year old audio engineer from Southern California. With a Bachelor's degree in Music Industry Studies from Cal Poly Pomona, she has been working as a sound engineer for the past 8 years, in both studio and performance settings. She currently works with Feather Flowers as the A1 for their live shows, and assists on recording sessions. Chloe also works as a sound engineer and stage manager for a variety of other acts, and specializes in musical archival/digitization. When she's not working she can be found reading, exploring outdoors, taking photographs and always listening to music.
Samuel Jauregui
Samuel (Sam), Age 24 (he/him), is Feather Flowers’ Recording Engineer, helping the band record, mix, and master their work. Sam works out of Cal Poly Pomona’s recording studios and his own home studio, La Biblioteca. He works constantly, having assisted recordings with A-list clients and running sessions for local and up-and-coming artists. Sam offers assistance on any projects and or recording/mix/master needs! Some fun facts about Sam are he’s a movie fanatic, he loves videos games, exploring new music, and playing DnD!
